1.How long is the commitment?
We ask that every coach see out a one year commitment with the person they are coaching
2.What is the suggested coaching approach for the one on one?
Offer great hospitality - Create a welcoming environment - Build rapport - Coach goes first (Model it) - Each session pray (allow space for them to pray) - there are many approaches but these are some common elements
3. What does a session look like?
Suggested time of 90 minutes (First meeting is to clarify expectations, find common ground, and reducing any fears)
4. What Bible translation do we use?
NLT (New Living Translation)
5. How do I know where this person is spiritually?
Establishing “You are here” is often just a very candid conversation to see where the individual is in their walk with God
6. What resources are available?

7. Do I have to go through the same resources in the box?
YES (scholarships available)
8. Who do I contact if I have a question?
9. What do I do when it's over?
Giving the person the opportunity to lead someone else in the grow journey, share their testimony, and ultimately reproduce disciples that reproduce disciples
10. How/When can I give feedback?
There are quarterly meetings after service on Sundays for training & debrief.
11. What do I do if the person I am coaching is not participating?
Ask some questions - “What are the challenges of why you are not able to make it?” Is there any adjustments that we can make that would help?
12. Is it only one on one or can we do it with couples?
Yes. We offer both one on one and with couples. **Note this is not counseling.
13. Where to meet?
Options: Homes, Coffee Shops, Beach, Parks, Restaurants
14. Am I ready to be a coach?
Yes. NO perfect people allowed! There is a process that we put all coaches through, but if you are waiting until you have it all figured out, you will never be ready. Apply now.
15. How will I get assigned a disciple?
Through church leadership, prayer, discernment, and input from both the coach and those seeking out coaching. We also encourage you to seek out someone on your own and find a great connection for coaching.
16. What's the win?
It's not just the ultimate win of disciples making disciples but many check points along the way. We celebrate everything!
Example: Sharing their faith, reading the Bible, praying, forgiveness, discovering their gifts, restoration, completion of any of the materials, sense of purpose, taking ownership, clarity of who they are in Christ, application of faith steps, application of any truth.
